Our External Diagnostic Service is a basic auto repair inspection designed to quickly identify potential issues with your vehicle.
This service includes:
- Scanning the vehicle for diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) to detect any reported issues.
- Conducting a road test to assess drivability concerns.
- Performing a physical inspection of relevant external components related to the customer’s complaint.
This service is ideal for identifying common mechanical or operational concerns.
*However, it does not include advanced computer or electrical diagnostics, compression testing, emissions testing, or deep-level troubleshooting. If further diagnosis is needed, additional services may be recommended.

External Diagnostic Service (Automotive)
This service is intended to take approximately 0.5 book labor hours on average.
This service is a preliminary diagnostic inspection and does not include:
- Advanced computer or electrical diagnostics.
- Compression testing.
- Emissions testing.
- Internal component teardown or deep-level troubleshooting.
If the issue requires further diagnosis beyond what is covered in this inspection, additional diagnostic services may be recommended at an extra charge. Customers will be notified of any further costs before proceeding with additional services or repairs.
